I think in 5 years marketing will use AI for a lot of the things they need to do. AI will be used to get rid of all the petty work that nobody wants to do. It will also be able to break down stats faster than ever so we will know what works and what doesn’t. Doing this will allow us to market the correct things to people in a way that we know will reach them because statistics will break down exactly what we need to do so. To make it simple, AI will make all of our lives easier and optimize efficiency everywhere.

I also think that in 5 years the main source of promoting ad advertising will be through content creators and media influencers. This would mean that there would be less physical ads like billboards and more videos posted online. This works better because it allows you to directly connect with the person making the post to talk to them about the product so you know what your buying. Also with the grow of these online stores such as TikTok shop you can see an ad and if you like the product there will be a link in that same video where you can go buy it making it very convenient where you don’t have to go searching for it. It is also extremely budget friendly compared to having to pay for a billboard over a long period of time. It costs nothing to post a video and promote a product online.
